Exciting News!!!

KURC has a new home!

We have exciting news! The Kennett Underground Railroad Center finally has a home in the historic Dr. Isaac Johnson House in Kennett Borough!

Our new address is:
120 N. Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348

It's been twelve years since we packed up the "History Station" display in the old railroad depot at the foot of South Broad Street. For a few years we had a presence at the Brandywine Visitor's Center, until that display had to be returned to storage. In all this time, we have soldiered on-giving presentations and bus tours, continuing to research various individuals and communities and setting up our Pop-Up Museum at community events. Now we have a place where we can share all we know about the Underground Railroad operative and activities in the Kennett area.
